Where Magic Meets Truth

My favorite Aunt passed away a few years ago. I miss her each and every day. I was having a really bad day and was wishing I could call her and discuss what was going on, but of course that was impossible. That is I thought it was impossible! As I was sitting there trying to figure out how she might handle the situation, her picture fell off the wall. Thinking nothing of it, I hung the picture back up. I go back into my head trying to resolve this silly issue I was having and the photo fell again. Now I'm getting curious. I yelled at my teenage son to stop what ever he was doing as it was making the pictures fall off the wall. He comes into my room and say's, "Mom, I was outside, what are you talking about?" I said, "Watch this". I sat back down and began thinking about how I thought my Aunt would handle my issue and ..........you guessed it......the picture fell again. It has happened only one other time, but I honestly feel my Aunt was trying to reach out to me to let me know that she was still around if I needed her.
I am telling you about this now because it happened again a couple of weeks ago. I was visiting family down south and they were showing me family photos that were hung on the wall. We had just looked at my Aunts photo and then turned away. My father started talking about how beautiful a woman that she was inside and out and ...you guessed it....her photo fell. I then began telling my Dad about my previous experiences with her photo. He then told me that she had attempted to contact him as well. The day after she passed away his watch alarm went off. He thought nothing of it at first, but after several days of this alarm going off, he began complaining about it, not understanding why this was happening, especially since he had never set the alarm on his watch to begin wit. As a matter of fact, he didn't even know how to set it. A few weeks later my Dad was visiting with his neice, my Aunts only daughter when this alarm went off. She asked him why it had gone off. He explained to her that he had no idea, that it had been driving him crazy, especially since he had not set it to go off and had no idea how to stop it either. At that point, she asked him if he knew the exact time that my Aunt had passed. He said, "No, not really, sometime in the afternoon". She then said, "Look at what time it is, Mom passed away at exactly 2:04 PM. She then asked to see his watch. It was set to go off every day at exactly 2:04 PM. To this day my father says each and every time his watch alarm goes off, "My sister is saying hello again."
